Terms and Conditions

  1. General

The following general terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by the customer (hereinafter referred to as “you”) at RUBBELLA, Chamber of Commerce no. 59547367, hereinafter referred to as “RUBBELLA”, “us” or “we”, via the RUBBELLA website, the mobile website or a mobile device, by telephone or in person at rubbella (collectively referred to as Rubbella.nl ”). By using rubbella.nl and / or by placing an order, you accept that you are bound by the general conditions below (hereinafter referred to as the “Conditions”). Make sure you have read and understood the Terms before placing your order. Only persons of 18 years or older, who are not under guardianship, with a valid residential address, can place an order. The fact that products or services are offered at any time on rubbella.nl does not guarantee that these products or services are available at all times. We reserve the right to withdraw products at any time. We reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time without notice. The version of the Terms and Conditions that applies to your order is the version that can be found on rubbella.nl at the time of placing your order.

2. Prices and delivery costs

The prices stated on rubbella.nl include the legal VAT, but exclude shipping costs. If the VAT rate applicable on the order date is changed after the order has been placed, this change will be passed on to the price of the items without further notice to you. The shipping costs are almost the same for all orders, regardless of the size and weight of your order. If you spend an amount above € 250, Rubbella will bear the costs of shipping in the Netherlands. The costs for each shipping option are clearly stated during the ordering process. Our standard shipping costs are € 7.25. If we cannot deliver your order completely and have to deliver the order in multiple shipments, no additional shipping costs will be charged for the after delivery. (this only applies to Dutch shipments).

    3. Order / contract conclusion

You can order via rubbella.nl, telephone or personally at Rubbella on location. For more information, please visit our contact page. If you have registered your e-mail address, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail after placing an order. In the unlikely event that we cannot deliver your order, we will let you know as soon as possible. If the order has already been paid, we will try to refund the payment via the payment method used by you. If the refund has to be made in another way, rubbella will contact you to arrange this. An order must be at least € 7.50 (after deduction of discounts). Payments under €7.50 will not be refunded.

    4. Delivery

RUBBELLA takes great care when registering and processing orders.

Deliveries are always made in accordance with the delivery method chosen by you and to the specified address.

Your first order will always be delivered to that address. RUBBELLA strives to process orders as quickly as possible and in order of receipt. We aim to deliver within 3 to 5 working days after confirmation of an order, unless otherwise agreed. Although we strive to deliver within the stated timeframe, delays may arise due to unexpected events. Before you place an order, you will be informed about the expected delivery time. If you have registered your e-mail address, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail after placing an order, stating the expected delivery time. If your order does not arrive on the planned date, please contact RUBBELLA via +31 (0) 6 23666 580 or via email address info@rubbella.nl. For packages that cannot be delivered after several attempts, or that are not picked up, RUBBELLA reserves the right to charge € 15 for costs incurred by us.


5. Revocation of an order

Canceling or returning an order is possible under the following conditions: From the date on which you placed the order, no later than 7 days after receipt of the ordered items (only after written notification). Made to Measure or specially ordered items can never be canceled or returned. We do not take back underwear, briefs and thongs for hygienic reasons. If you return the entire order and have already paid for it, you will receive the standard amount excluding shipping costs. N.B. In the event of cancellation or return, it should be taken into account that amounts will be refunded excluding transaction costs incurred for PayPal or Credit Card. If you want to keep certain items and only want to cancel part of the order, the shipping costs for returning the part order will not be reimbursed. If you wish to cancel or return your order, please inform us in writing, either by post, or by sending a letter to RUBBELLA, Ambachtstrjitte 1, 9269 PT FEANWALDEN, or by sending an email to info @rubella.nl, but always within the term set in this paragraph. Non-written notifications will not be considered. You then have another 7 days to return the items in the manner set out in paragraph 6 (Returns). We will try to refund the money as soon as possible and in the same way you paid, no later than 7 days after receiving your cancellation, provided we have received the items. In the case of an exchange, the shipping costs to be made new are for the account of the buyer.
Another payment method can be used for the refund if you prefer. In any case, this will not entail any additional costs. If an item received is defective, you immediately notify RUBBELLA and return the item as set out in Section 6 (Returns). All products reported as defective will be fully reimbursed by RUBBELLA. The provisions in these terms and conditions do not limit any legal rights.


6. Return shipment

RUBBELLA guarantees reimbursement, or if desired replacement, for returned items under paragraph 5 (Withdrawal of an order), provided that all items are returned in the same condition as they were when they were received. This means that the items must not be damaged, dirty, washed, altered or worn (other than trying on the item) and that labels or price tags have not been removed. There are a number of items for which we request that you do not return them for hygienic reasons, such as underwear, briefs, thongs, gloves and socks. Items from the SALE are not credited, if you still want to return a SALE item, you will receive a voucher for this purchase amount. 7. Payment methods

You can pay for your items in several ways indicated below.


iDEAL works directly with ten major banks in the Netherlands: ABN AMRO, ASN Bank, bunq, ING, Knab, Rabobank, RegioBank, SNS Bank, Triodos Bank and Van Lanschot Bankiers. After you have chosen iDEAL as payment method, your own bank will be selected. The actual payment then takes place in the familiar environment of the bank’s website. The bank guarantees safety in this environment. Buyer and seller are assured of a transparent transaction, without hidden costs.


A bank transfer is the most standard way of payment. Anyone with access to internet banking has the option to pay in this way. You can make a payment to Rubbella through your own trusted banking environment.

Credit Card

Credit card is almost the best known method of making payments with worldwide coverage. Because we support the well-known brands Mastercard and Visa, this immediately creates trust.

Mister Cash

Mister Cash uses a physical card that is linked to credit on a Belgian bank account. The card can be used both online and offline to pay. Payments via Mister Cash are guaranteed and are therefore very similar to iDEAL in the Netherlands. With more than 1 billion payments per year, Mister Cash is by far the most popular payment method in Belgium.


In a few clicks you can make payments by bank transfer, credit card or the PayPal balance. All you need to pay at Rubbella is an email address. The people you transfer money to will not see your bank or credit card details. And because your data is stored securely, you don’t have to enter it anywhere online or publicly.


When you as a customer choose to pay via SOFORT Banking, you will be redirected to the online banking environment of SOFORT Banking. Here you choose the country of origin and your bank. You log in with your data that you also use for your own online banking environment and you will see an overview of your account. Then you choose from which account you want to make the payment. When the payment is confirmed, you will be returned to the website. Rubbella receives immediate feedback on the status of the payment.


When paying via the Belfius Pay Button, you can make the payment via internet banking or the smartphone app. When paying via the app, a QR code is scanned, with which the payment details are immediately entered and the transaction only needs to be sent. Via Belfius Direct Net you use a card reader to confirm the payments. When the payment is confirmed, the order can be processed immediately because payment is guaranteed.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay is Apple’s proprietary payment method, available in more than 35 countries for all Apple users. It uses the Wallet app, in which the user places his payment cards. The actual payment method therefore depends on the cards that are placed in the Wallet. Currently only credit cards are supported. The Wallet knows all the details and preferences of the different cards. Payment is completed with a fingerprint or face scan.

In cash

Would you like to pick up your product and pay in cash? That is possible, contact Rubbella to make an appointment, you can pay us cash, please note, we do not have an ATM !!!


8.Our Liability

These Terms do not limit or exclude RUBBELLA’s liability in respect of matters for which we cannot limit or exclude our liability by law. In the event of a breach of these Terms, we will be liable only for losses that are reasonably foreseeable as a result of such breach. RUBBELLA is not responsible for indirect losses that are an incidental effect of the original loss or damage, such as loss of profit or loss of opportunity, or failure to deliver goods or comply with any other obligation under these Terms. , if such failure is the result of events beyond our control, including, but not limited to, fire, flood, storm, uprising, political unrest, war, nuclear accidents and terrorist activities. Our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising under this Agreement is limited to the total amount of your order.

9. Colors

We do everything reasonably possible to display the properties of our products, including composition and colors, as accurately as possible. The color you see depends on your computer system, and we cannot guarantee that your computer will display these colors correctly.


10. Guarantee

If the goods you have purchased are defective, RUBBELLA will fully comply with the legal warranty regulations. If you have a complaint as a result of obvious material or manufacturing defects with regard to goods delivered by us, including transport damage, you can notify us by returning the goods after consultation.


11. Handover

RUBBELLA reserves the right to transfer or transfer any claims for payment (including any payment terms) in connection with the delivery of goods to a third party.


12. Severability

If any part of these Terms is declared invalid or void by a court or legislature, the remaining Terms will survive.


13. Property rights

All intellectual property rights, such as trademark and copyright on RUBBELLA.NL rest with RUBBELLA. Any use of RUBBELLA.NL or its content, including copying or storing such content in whole or in part, other than for your own, personal and non-commercial use, is prohibited without the prior written consent of RUBBELLA.
